Privacy Policy

Order info: your name, shipping address, billing address, email, and phone number if you provide one. We need these to build, package, ship, and follow up on your order.

Account info: if you create an account, we store your email and a hashed password (we can't see the actual password). You can also save shipping addresses and bike info for faster reordering.

Payment info: card details go directly to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or CVC. We store only Stripe's reference IDs so we can reconcile refunds and support requests.

Launch list: if you sign up on the coming-soon page for a launch notification, we store your email address so we can send one email when we open. We also store a hashed version of your IP address (so we can prevent abuse) — we never store the raw IP.

Analytics: if you don't have Do-Not-Track or Global Privacy Control enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to see aggregate page views and traffic sources. IP anonymization is on; ad-personalization signals are off. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors.

• We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third-party marketers.
• We don't use tracking pixels from ad networks.
• We don't run remarketing campaigns.
• We don't email you promos unless you explicitly signed up for a list (right now, the only list we have is the launch notification).

• Stripe — payment processing. Governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (order confirmations, shipping notices).
• Vercel — hosts this website.
• Cloudflare — DNS + email routing for our domain.
• Google Analytics 4 — traffic analytics (opt-out respected).
• USPS & UPS — shipping. They need your address to deliver your order.

We use a few small cookies: a session cookie so we know you're signed in, a cart cookie so your cart survives a reload, and (only if analytics is enabled for your visit) a Google Analytics cookie. No third-party advertising cookies.

You can request a copy of the data we have on file for you, correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we're required to retain for tax or fraud-prevention reasons, e.g., order history). Email customercare@chilhoweemotorcycleleather.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

California residents have specific rights under the CCPA; the request process above works for those, too. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

This site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.

• Enable Do-Not-Track in your browser settings.
• In Firefox or Brave: turn on Global Privacy Control. We honor it automatically.
• Use a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics, or install Google's official opt-out extension.

We'll update the “Effective” date at the top if this policy changes. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
