Chilhowee Motorcycle Leather has been hand-crafting motorcycle leather in Tennessee since 2004. The shop specializes in Get-Back Biker Whips — the braided leather flogger that hangs off a motorcycle handlebar via a quick-release panic snap — and in custom-fit tank bras, fender bibs, engine-guard chaps, and saddlebag pieces cut to a rider's specific year, make, and model. Everything is made in-house, one piece at a time, from full-grain American cowhide and deerskin. The shop maintains an in-house template library so returning customers with the same bike get consistent fitment across orders; new templates are cut from customer measurements when needed. After a dormant stretch from 2023 to 2026, Chilhowee Leather is back in production under new management with the same braiding and stitching traditions the shop was originally known for.
